Crispy Homemade Egg Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb ground pork or chicken 2 cups shredded cabbage 1 cup shredded carrots 2 green onions, finely sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp sesame oil Salt & pepper to taste Egg roll wrappers Oil for frying (vegetable or canola) Small bowl of water or cornstarch slurry (for sealing)

Instructions

Simple ingredients and seasonings give these rolls classic flavor. Serve them with soy sauce, sweet chili, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Cook ground pork or chicken with garlic, cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Let the filling cool before wrapping.

Place filling in the center of a wrapper, fold in sides, and roll tightly. Seal with a bit of water or cornstarch slurry.

Heat oil to 350°F and fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 3–5 minutes. Drain on paper towels to keep them crisp.

Serve hot with dipping sauce. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven or air fryer for crispiness.
